Airstrikes Begin In Syria
On Monday the United States and a coalition of Arab nations began military action against ISIS in Syria. Is it too little too late, and will it be enough to "defeat and destroy" ISIS as the president has stated? Obama also acknowledged that it struck al Qaeda targets near the city of Aleppo. According to theDepartment of Defense, "U.S. Central Command conducted eight strikes against Khorasan Group targets west of Aleppo to include training camps, an explosives and munitions production facility, a communication building and command and control facilities."

As I've told you over the last few days, the Khorasan group has suddenly come to the forefront as being another dangerous threat to the American homeland. This group differs from ISIS in that it's alleged goal is to target Westerners outside of the region, such as on American-bound flights.

One thing is clear, America is at war even if the Obama administration doesn't want to admit it.

Climate Change More Dangerous Than ISIS?
President Obama visited New York to speak to the United Nations about .... climate change. Which, by the way, Secretary of State John Kerry said last night is the "most serious challenge we face on the planet." Seriously! He told the United Nations , "And when you think about terrorism, which we think about a lot today; poverty, which is linked obviously to the levels of terror that we see in the world today; and, of course, proliferation of weapons of mass destruction - all of these are challenges that don't know any borders. And that's exactly what climate change is. Importantly, climate change, without being connected in that way to everybody's daily thinking, in fact, ranks right up there with every single one of the rest of those challenges. You can make a powerful argument that it may be, in fact, the most serious challenge we face on the planet because it's about the planet itself." That whole quote makes me wonder if ISIS is concerned about climate change?
